Shiloh - Dream On

Luke Chable on the remix duties on the A side of this vinyl. He steps into his trusted breaks boots, to deliver a solid workout. Catchy beats, nagging melody, and heavily fx'ed male vocals. Bassline really stands out. The original contains a kick drum so powerful, you'd be forgiven for thinking this is slow hard dance. Chunky prog house with a twist, that's how I would classify this track. Both very playable versions.

There hasn't been a release by these brothers that I haven't liked, and "Dream On" is no exception. Heavy Force Mass Motion styled beats, a nice bubbly bassline, and quirky vocals spread over tight little synth melodies make for a experience that can be appreciated on and off the dance floor. Klaus does the remix on the flip and brings in a deeper, tribal breaks which is OK, but nothing could match the original.
