Listening to this album right now, here at my home in Christchurch, New Zealand. It's 5:53 pm and the sun has just departed, leaving the earth dreched in the cloak of night. This album is so lush and deep, so minimal and spacey. Truly beautiful. Low Light Dreams is definitely an album that one should not consciously attempt to physically or emotionally engage with; rather, it is a musical masterpiece that one has to sit back and soak up, letting every drum beat and soaring string caress the mind. Adopting this more passive stance allows the listener to let the thoughts in his or her mind to arise freely and spontaneously, like leaves circulating within a current of wind. I do enjoy music, and I do a great deal.
