Notes

Remixes of songs from Sigur Rós's first album, 'Von'. The title is actually a play on words in Icelandic, it is formed from the first album's title plus part of the word 'tilbrigði', meaning 'variation'. Incidentally, the resulting title, 'Von brigði', means 'dissapointment'.

Reviews & Discussion

Review by bofs Jul 09, 2003
The last track of this album is interesting for more than one reason. It started out as a remix of a song from the band's first album (Von) but ended up being reworked so much that it's like a whole new composition altogether. The 'remix' is credited to the band although I think it was mostly done by Jónsi (the singer). This is also the only known remix by Sigur Rós and their only song that can be classified as drum & bass. It was the only song from this album that recieved air-time on local radio stations.
