Silversurfer's - "Welcome To Berlin" (Tekel Remix) is my favourite Techno Tune of Now . Not vey fast but energetic + clever arranged the track marches on and on and creates an atmosphere of suspense . The Hoover Sounds used here , remind me of Joey Beltram's 'Mentasm' or Dave Clarkes 'Red' Series ; make this so special and immediately recognizable ! A fine accented bass programming ends this fine Song, that doesn't have a dull or boring moment.
Jahcoozie's "FISH" is a crazy vocal track that is rooted in Dub Techno and sounds like listening stuff at the beginning, but get's faster and faster after the intro and the familiar CrossTown Rebels synthie sounds turn FISH into a Techno mover with a killer groove . This song about "Fish,Fish,Fish....Fish,Fish,Fish" with handclapping and adventurous programming make this Tune really dangerous and hevy mental. The female singers beautiful voice must be mentioned. Excellent EP !!!
