Interesting album, although as pompous as many of the kind in the 90s, leaning predominatly on some retro-chic, but let's not jump to conclusions - 'Chemistry is what we are' makes a sarcastic statement in favour of Simian's autosuggestion to their former selves... An impressive debut with occasional loads of irony, whether put into sound (using vacuum-cleaners for instance) or into lyrics. Spooky artwork, spooky music - a concept fairly hard to take on easily anyway. 3.8/5

This album took me 3 months of constant listening to understand what they were about. But it was well worth it and it is one of the finest releases in my collection. So my advice is, give it time and it will set of your brain.
