Going... Gone, the second album from Jamie Myerson under his Sky City aliase, is for the most part very good. A lot of the tracks are quite dark and there are some harsh beats in there too (one track ‘Nowhere To Be Found’ verges on D&B). The atmosphere which is created is certainly interesting. The only place where the album falters is on the tracks with female vocals (‘That's How Much I Love You’ & ‘Walk Alone’). Personally I find these vocals quite overbearing and grating to listen to. The male vocals on ‘Falling Down’ & ‘Love Can't Fail’ on the other hand add to the atmosphere and certainly don't sound out of place on the album. Overall Going… Gone gets a positive rating and is certainly worth checking out. I wasn’t sure about it at first but now I find that the more I listen to it the more I enjoy it.
