A pioneering piece of work. From the initial chimes and ensuing ambient synth lines, you know this is going to be something special. And yet just as the track heads deep into after-party territory, that synth line drops leaving only dance floor friendy beats to move the track forward, building slowly back towards the ambience heard in the opening bars. Those fantastic staccato vocals are introduced along with ever changing elements in the main track making this a brilliant piece of work that is regarded as a true classic by many from that era.
It's been often said that gat decor's passion was the track the coined the phrase "progressive house", but there can be no doubt that slam got there first. Absoluting outstanding. 11/10.
