Probably the craziest A side to a dance record ever. I really wonder how this label gets away with it! Nonetheless Villalobos single handedly invented a Jazz/Minimal/Ambient hybrid here with gritty kickdrums, brushy hats and sound collage bites in between. The snares that kick in later plus that vocal (is this Ricardo himself?) are a bit annoying, but this remix still shows RV's creative powers at their very best. He played it at his last set at Fabric recently and it so totally made sense on the Room 1 system. I'm hooked.
