The FSOL boys have produced some classic music in pretty much all the genres they have touched (a lot!) and this is no exception. Tingler (State Side Swamp Mix) is by far my favourite of all the early old-skool hardcore tracks. The Juno-2 hoover workout is very distinctive and combined with the heavy breaks and vocal one-shots, it just completely rips apart any soundsystem which dares to play it. I never really liked the other mixes, but when B2 is as good as this, who really cares?

The Tingler has to be my favorite hardcore/techno track from the early 90's, maybe together with some UR stuff. This is just overwhelming hardkicking sick dancefloor music, it will blow your brain right out! These FSOL guys just can make whatever kind of electronic music with a great twist which makes it top notch quality. Classic housemusic and a must have for everyone into UK electronics.

This is definitely one of my favourite harder end of hardcore tunes. Very underground indeed - "The Stateside Swamp Mix" being my favourite of the 3 tracks. Severe mentasm style riffs, solid funky ass breakbeat, 303s, lazer sounds, mad stabs, distorted vocal stabs...this tune is so in yer face, but also intelligent. UK techno from 1991 which I'm sure must of influenced the emerging dark-core sound, jungle, and drum n bass. The current dark step/tech step sounds were invented in 1991 by none other than the Smart Systems AKA Future Sounds Of London I'm tellin' ya!...
