Daughter" is a rare The Smashing Pumpkins flexidisc song written by Billy Corgan and D'arcy Wretzky that was issued only to Reflex Magazine subscribers in 1992.
The flexidisc single-sided and contained only one song. It is an extended version of a track from the 1989 Moon demo recorded in the Reel Time Studios in Chicago, which the Smashing Pumpkins sold at their early shows in Chicago. The song has never been widely released, as this magazine subscription only single was pressed in very limited quantities and the track was not included in their Rarities and B-Sides digital collection. The magazine went out of business less that six months after this edition' s release, so it is assumed that the magazine and flexi-disc are limited to around 1000 copies. Since flexidiscs are notoriously unreliable and this one saw limited distribution, this is among the rarest Smashing Pumpkins releases.
The song is incorrectly credited solely to Billy Corgan on the flexidisc, however the Moon tape's liner notes state that it was actually written by both Corgan and D'arcy Wretzky.
