Reviews & Discussion

Rated 3/5
Review by Goad Jan 15, 2007 (edited over 2 years ago)
The only reason I bought this album was because I really, really liked the song “Spitting Games.” It was immensely relevant to my life at the time; nearly every line in the lyric was sort of like a narration of my life (however lame that might sound). And so I bought the album. The rest of the songs are alright; they mostly deal with relationships and stuff like that, which usually bores me. Also, there’s this certain sound that it has, and every time I reach out to get it from my shelf I always go, “Nah… something else.” And there are often times where I just stare at it and wonder to myself why I still have it. I mean, maybe if the booklet had lyrics it would be more enticing, but it doesn’t; all the booklet has are photographs and liner notes – nothing too interesting. These songs are… just songs… mostly about relationships, and the only song I truly like is “Spitting Games.” Though it isn’t a terrible album (there are some good songs), it’s just not that great.
