Solid Sessions - Janeiro

This tune originally appeared in '01 and could be found on many underground progressive compilations from that time, such as Van M's 'Bedrock' CD (not once, but twice!) and Dave Seaman's 'Desire' compilation - for good reason, as it was for myself and many others one of the best tracks of the year. It had an almost criminally uplifting yet simple riff and some of the most smooth and summery production. Over a year later I was mortified to find it being re-released as a crossover track with the headline mix from Armin Van Buuren twisting the original beyond recognition. The new package was, however, narrowly redeemed by one of James Holden's finer remixes. It is a shame that Solid Sessions haven't produced much else since then.
