Gotta agree with the above comment. Chrome ozone is the best track on the album and its sods law that its the one they left off the cd version. I had to fork out loads of money for the triple album, record chrome ozone, and then sell it on. I couldn't warrant spening £50 on it when I already had the CD.
Its a lot different to the rest of the album, which is quirky electro. This is more of an IDM track and sounds like something thay'd make as Phoenecia - a nod to where they were heading. It has a sort of old school feel to it too.
The track makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. You know when you here a really good tune and you just think: thats the one!!!!!

"Chrome Ozone" is just sick. The only track not included on the CD format of this LP. It's haunted chords are lush and intimidating and IMO is the ultimate arcade funk track. Would be a killer late night tip track to throw on in the mid morning hours at a party.
freq shift has all the elements of a track that i especially love. the title itself was enough to make me pick it up and buy a copy. quirky blips, glitchy pops, tweeked out acid lines and manipulated vocals over some sick ghetto bass lines that drop in and out. classic elements combined with futuristic beat makes for a great track. this record rocks!
