This record is without a doubt one of my favorite soultek records, although all of his music is quite addictive. If you like or are a fan of Basic Channel or Chain Reaction, I would highly recommend checkout out his stuff. The bassline in "Spaceman" is one of the darkest & groovey basslines I have ever heard in a tech track before. The melody of that song is so catchy, think Carl Craig in his finest moments, just lovely. "Soultwist" this song is like a tribal version of "Maurizio" he somehow uses the percussion the same way Moritz used sythesized sounds, just to an amazing effect. I am not sure why his music hasn't received more attention, but I would highly advise picking some of it up before its all gone..
This is one Melodic, Deep Tech house thriller! The a1 cut is a masterfull steve bug style banger. The b1 is the techno edge dancefloor chiller. The b2 cut is the most impressive and has a destiny for greatness!
Highly recommended!
Kompute is one label to fill your record bag with. This release is probably the strongest release to date. I love the A1 cut, it has a strong steve bug influence and is a crowd pleaser. The track on this albulm that is the most innovative and strong in production is the B2. The warm synthtones and massive detroit harmony makes this cut the club monster! The B1 is another tech-house pleaser than would shake any audience. Highly recommended!
