the first two 12"s on the new label shockout were pretty fly, full of the usual line (Rupture, The Bug, 606), this record adds Soundmurderer & SK-1 and Tech Level 2 to the list....
the A side jumps off with some killer beats(a la soundmurderer), the kind of beats to be proud of, the vocal line however doesn't just doesn't seem flow so well, but the instrumental makes it all seem worth it.
it's the B side that kind of bothers me, i'm used to most things that come from kid606's crew to be fun or different or abstract or atleast interesting.... this mix by techlevel 2 just doesn't deliver. it sounds like any drumb'n'bass track with a ragga vocal line on it(and honestly, it's not the best from Wayne Lonesome either).
