A relentless driving mix from Orkidea, the most hypnotic mix of this classic track I have ever heard. This remix was long overdue a full press after only a few acetates were cut in 1999. The mix by Markus is blinding also, more on a prog trip, the original ingredients are turned moody and epic !

The Markus Schulz mix has one of the darkest basslines I've EVER heard in a prog track. It's seriously chunky. Sparse top-end elements crop up in the track, but it's all about the bassline. The Orkidea mix strays into pop-trance territory, which isn't my cuppa tea at this point. It may appeal to some people, but it's really all about the Schulz mix.

A number of these were pressed and/or labeled incorrectly. I have one copy that has the wrong label (hooj man drinking a beer instead of in space suit), and another with an error where the "Tilt's Apollo 11 Mix" is actually the "Solar Stone Remix". And even a third copy with both. Hooj was unable to explain what the deal was. To get the actual Tilt mix I had to find the test pressing.

The absolute best track John "Quivver" Graham has ever written. Deep, melodic, trippy, original, and endlessly interesting, "Stage One" is a progressive trance classic of endless appeal. This release includes both the Separation mix and the Total Separation mix, though it would have been nice if Hooj had also included some of the remixes featured on the vinyl releases of this track (vice the worthless radio edit). Also, Sasha & Digweed's Northern Exposure Expeditions features a superbly blended Total Separation/Separation mix that is nothing short of incredible.

This record's ethereal mood will send you straight to the far reaches of your imagination. A phenomenal Deep Trance track. Sasha loves this record.
