One of Speedy J's best early releases, which shifts the main focus away from the dance floors, and emphasizes the beauty and emotion of electronic music, with slower paced tunes, covered in melodies as warm as though they were thick winter blankets. There's no real attempt or determination to produce epic tracks here, although the lead kicking in at 02:10 on Evolution, the obvious stand out here, is as a phenomenal and down to earth testament to the old school as any other I've heard. The whole track just floats and while never picking up in the BPM range, it patiently builds until reaching a beautiful, musically dense climax.
The other two tracks, don't fall behind either; it's all about well thought out, dare-do execution of ideas and lush soundscapes and futuristic visions carried out through music. Just notice those playful synths in the background of Analogical, and the way in which they interact with the aptly applied 303s, while the main lead occasionally gets thrown in the loop like a gush of fresh air getting gently pumped out of an enormous pipe line. A more than deserved 5/5!

Speedy J said he didn't want to keep on producing dancefloor-by-numbers tracks like 'Pullover' and 'Something for Your Mind' where a single hook is repeated endlessly. This aptly-named track is the result. A classic, sharp-edged, minimal but blistering piece of techno.
