Having followed Spooky in the early 90's with their excellent output on Guerilla and the numerous progressive remixes they churned out I had then lost touch with their sound in the late 90's, only to be recently introduced to this excellent album. This album has it all, chilled out atmospheric beats, funky club sounds, dub, techno, a little bit of everything. Forbes and May have reinvented themselves and once again delivered an album that is every bit as good as "gargantuan" was back in 1993.
A truly stunning collection of mature soulful vocals mixed with deep electronic vibes, which covers techno, house, dub, ambient etc. The bonus disc is full of blissful ambient/dub remixes, so whatever mood suits you this album is a must.. Spooky prove yet again how to make dance albums that work equally as well at home,in the car or for relaxing by the pool just as much as they work in a club. Emotive, melodic, oozing with soul and deeply funky.5/5
