This release (nearly) brings me to tears every time I give this one a listen. So you can imagine I cry quite a bunch...

Currently collecting everything wolfers has ever produced and this double pack is qualitatively so incredibly good. Not quite as uplifting and quirky as most of his releases on Bunker, Crème and Stilleben, but this one goes way into the deep. Gonna bag myself another copy as soon as I can, because the one I own is already wearing out.

Very deep bass drums, tear jerking melodies, dark, sinister melodies that give you goosebumps every time it kicks in.

My favourite place to listen to this album is driving along a deserted road at night, smoking a big one and just smiling from ear to ear...

No less outstanding as an album in its re-pressed edition as it was in its original form, naturally. This appears to be the place in which Wolfers ties together his moroderesque-disco and 80s horror-film soundtrack influences together most convincingly. The result for me, is an LP which on the surface seems to be brimming with psychopathic malevolence, but deeper down - and following some dedicated listening of course - it reveals itself to be subtle, beautiful and groovy (in an unashamedly glitter-ball disco fashion in places). And given that it's packed from cover to cover with genuine analogue sound it's actually warm, human and reassuring. Whether the 'Illuminati' theme was a bravura conceit or a happy accident, I feel that in years to come it could well come close to being vindicated as well chosen. Masterful indeed.

A modern masterpiece, this record is brilliant, or should i say "Illuminated".
Many influences brought together in a fresh new, and rockin' style. Squadro Blanco audio nods to yes masters like Simonetti and Carpenter in my view, while adding a whole new level being uniquely Squadro Blanco, I enjoy the lyrics and the overall concept and execution, hats off !
I am thankful for all the great work of the Viewlexx camp, inspiring and wonderful music for life.

This really is a fantastic record. Possibly the best thing that Legowelt has recorded thus far. Obviously it's heavily influenced by 70's and 80's horror soundtracks, but it stills sounds really fresh. Even on the less catchy tracks the sheer quality of the noises is quite astounding.

oh maaan...this is such a nice album, even though you can hear right away who did it it still sounds diffrent, very much like a soundtrack to some 80's italian b-movie,as someone said it recently. this is not a party album, but a long dark journey, legowelt style, that doesnt get boring...
