Seek this out for the gorgeous title track. "Abacus 2" is a worthy piece of music as well. The 1st appearance of "Venus No 17" before its proper release. "Itti-Fack" is a lovely little slice of funky acid jazz(and, if nothing else, a definite taste of what's to come with albums like Just a Souvenir). I'm not precisely sure what "Melt 14.6" actually is supposed to be...

Worth hunting down for the Beautiful title track alone, although Venus No.17 is worth hearing too.
Square Window, as short as it is, is a better release than Ultravisitor. Thankfully, even when Mr Squarepusher seems to be releasing rubbish there are still obvious exceptions.
A return to some sort of form.

Oddly enough, I almost like this better than the accompanying album release. Abacus 2 is a remarkably upbeat tune with a 2step beat interlaced with nice IDM keyboards that keeps your head nodding throughout; nothing special but catchy and simply charming.
Even though some of this promo release sounds like it was a left-over idea, it still comes over as fresh and raw, and contains some truly excellent unfinished structures that simply rock, unlike the things Mr. Jenkinson has produced lately.
