-It's artificial?
-Of course, it is.
-Must be expensive.
-Yeah... I'm rich."
The Blade Runner sample is nicely mysterious and well used as a recurring reminder of the general theme, theme which could indeed be labelled liquid something, as the selection is hugely made of flowing sounds. Still, it is quite a weak release, this. Some tracks are ace, yet the selection is sub-par, generally speaking, and the mixing skills of Mr. Pullen are rather unimpressive, especially for a commercially released mix. He admits it was digitally edited too, which is honest, but makes it even worse -- one gets to wonder what it sounded like raw. The general atmosphere is alright, but it is a bit flat and monotonous and could probably have been developped in a more interesting way. Not so exciting to listen to as a whole and one often finds themselves skipping portions or falling asleep, really.
