An average album, but can be good once in a while. "Suffocate" is the first track, and sets the tone for the rest of the songs: angsty, heavy, and loud. All the songs also follow the Pixies' and Nirvana's song structure of soft-hard-soft. Thus the structures of the songs in here sound very cliche. If you like metal or grunge, give this a go, and you might like what you hear. Otherwise, it's very tedious listening through the whole album in one sitting. At the end of "Spleen" is a hidden track that just has acoustic guitar and vocals. This is the only track that deviates from the others, giving it some, but not a whole lot of variety. If you like Nirvana, you might like this album. But if it's straight grunge you're looking for, you should probably just stick with the classics.
