This album consists of four tracks of fuzzy, lofi electropop with live instrumentation, and a set of remixes from all over the map. Unfortunately, despite the promise of the infectiously catchy first track, the next three Stars as Eyes tracks range from unremarkable to mediocre. Casino Versus Japan and múm deliver strong variations on the Stars as Eyes style, and the ten minute+ "Time Dilation" remix by Main slowly builds a spray of brightly pulsing digital noise, then yields a brittle, pretty landscape of guitar and feedback in the last five minutes. The rest of the remixes, however, represent at best unmemorable tangents.
