this album sounds great i think there is a confusion out there that the pressing of this record was poorly pressed? however I'm lead to believe that some people thought that the recording of a record skipping and scratched as if some pulled it off was actually really happening in reality to there record however its part of the recording it was done on purpose. I saw that on Discogs someone posted that some of the records have been returned due to poor pressing so ive come to the conclusion that either a whole bunch of people are really stupid or a small batch of these pressed onto vinyl actually had something wrong with it. is there a guy in a warehouse s omewhere sitting on a giant stack of these and trying to increase the value?? who knows.
Interesting(?) trivia: The cover art, several song titles, a large portion of the sleevenotes, and the speech sample in "Jenny Ondioline", all come from the UK magazine Hi-Fi Sound's 1969 "Stereo Test Record" (HFS69).
