Reviews & Discussion

Rated 5/5

Since this is the only Subway release on the lovely Sunday Best Label that has no comment yet, i will give my impression on it here. That initial 5 star rating i gave this years ago is absolutely acceptable from todays view. The A-Side alone with the female Vocals shouting 'I Need Your Love' - a crossover of Trip-Hop Beats and (Deep) House would deserve a real solid 4 Star Rating at the end of the day, but the B-Side fulfills the 5 Star quota with flying flags. Lush, mellow atmospheric electronics with absolute zero dull moments, grab you directly from the start with it's Electro Sounds and (again) Trip Hop Beats. These fit much better here than on the A-Side and convince you with it's feel good vibe all the way till the last groove. The bubbling synthie accents the flow nicely . Strings joining in add more deepness during the Track and make "Two Tone" a winner.
