Incest was extracted and edited together from several real-time studio sessions completed in Barcelona and San Francisco during June and July 2002. Although no audience was present for the sessions, the album documents material and method from more than three years of live performance. The "songs" use sound sources from both released and unreleased works, but as in my live shows, seldom serve as faithful reconstructions.
