What a fantastic release by the legendary Kris Kylven!
Both tracks are magnificent, loaded with thousands of vaults of blasting old school energy! I always prefered "Limited Access To The Files" with its lenghthy intro, and then the fun starts: eight minutes of out of this world experience!
"Space Puppy", the title track is a cult classic, just about as great as the flip side tune, but that is really a hard decision. It is a fast, intensly driving, but driven into the harder and harsher realms of goa trance. One thing I always liked about Kris is his will to push it much further than the average melodic, joyous and hyper blissfull type old school music. He made it more sinister and deviant for all who wanted it that way. I know I did!
Best of all is, this vinyl is still fairly easy to grab hold of, and for very reasonable prices too. Unlike the CD Maxi which is as rare as a pink bannana, the 12" contains the real gems of that EP and for a great price! This is a real bargain. For those looking for some more of that Kris' madness, do not miss out on his Tripperspaced 12"!
