By far the best record by the Talking Heads ! This exploded on the scene like a new drug - it was definitely fresh , new and exciting . Excellent lyrics , unexpected production ideas and synthesizer strings occasionally breaking the very over the top voice of David Byrne and the mainly punk-like guitar,bass, drums sound that fits so perfectly with the lyrical content . "Thanks for sending me an angel". , the opening song already gives a hint what is to follow -"a fine line between me and the good things" , "the big country " impressions of the USA during a flight over it "I wouldn't live there ,if you paid me , too" - Plus the Live-highlight :"Take me to the River " (later changed into a big band arrangement during their 80ies shows with funky black musicians incorporating an additional bass player , keyboards, guitar and percussions blowing this 4 members band up to a 9 piece combo ).. definitely as close to a revolutionary statement as a record can possibly work.
