"Birth Of Liquid Plejades" starts with very intense cello drones that are morphing into synth pulses and voice-like sounds, to finally come back to the cello drones.
"Nebulous Dawn" makes you feel like you are stranded on a strange alien planet, it's one of the darkest Tangerine Dream tracks I know so far, and definitly one of my favorites!
"Origin Of Supernatural Probabilities" starts with a more quieter atmosphere but goes on to a middle part of impressive wobbling synths that almost seem to talk to you.
"Zeit" is a very brooding track too, we have voice-like sounds again, and that strange and faszinating atmosphere of the whole record.
To come to an conclusion: "Zeit" is definitly a record for the advanced listener. It's very very spacey, dark and slow moving. It's challenging and you will not be able to listen to it everyday. But that's definitly a sign of quality. The record doesn't try to chum up with you.
As for all the other 70s records of Tangerine Dream, this one is hard to beat in terms of atmosphere!
