The first three parts of the A side belong to a same music: 'Hydra' is very funky and dancefloor techno, added to hypnotic basslines and growing lines of synth chords. The electronic percussion stays as one of the main elements of the track, very groovy. The drop out makes a slow down to a trippy downtempo. The Re-Hydrated version has only the techno structures of the first side, and the De-Hydrated stays only with the weird trippy downtempo conception. This single represented one of the massive techno hits of the end of the last century.
