Classic late 80s dance/house track! Makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck every time i hear this one! That popular piano house backbeat tipifies the sound of the time, and with a catchy chorus to boot, this is an 80s gem of song! Brings the memories flooding back.
This record blew me away back in da dayz !! It had such an impact on me that i'll never forget ! The clear 909 beats, the acid bassline, the hornstabs, the strings and not forget the vocals by Byron Stingly. These is one of the records that will stand the test of time. I still get a thrill when i hear this. Marshall Jefferson was a genius at that time ('85-'89), but he lost it after those Ten City records... Together with "Devotion" a HOUSE-classic !!
