Very solid 4-tracker from mr Howard on a 'modern energy through retro ingredients' kinda vibe. One might think of Carl Craig's Paperclip People dancefloor material, or certain Marco Passarani melodic technofunk delights, on a slightly more ruff approach, with clever use of what is sounding like vintage analog equipment (beatbox, arpeggiator...) given a manly yet elegant treatment. Sound production level is definitely contemporary, still always keeping emotion on board with pleasant ghosts of italo, electro or synthpop in the atmospheres. Refined, subtly referenced yet slammin' electronic dancemusic.
