Absolutely amazing soundtrack from Thomas Bangalter (1/2 of Daft Punk). This record runs the gamut from dark, deeply disturbing ambient tracks, to fast-driving, funky french house beats. The soundtrack also includes some classical music tracks as well, great to use for intros in a mix.

Bangalter does an absolutely incredible job with this soundtrack in conveying the starkly contrasting emotions and realities portrayed in the film "Irreversible," which is a must see as well.

Also, the track "Night Beats" is a great bridge track to bring a DJ set from more downtempo stuff to fast driving house. James Lavelle used this track on his "Global Underground: Barcelona" CD to do just that. It sounds great slowed down, and can be pitched up at least 20% and still sound good.
