Debut album from now well-established Swedish act Ticon. I reckon it's fair to say, that Ticon were never more simplistic that on this album. This is minimal, repetitive, background wall of sound like music. Particularly the first half is low key.

I've seen great reviews of this album, still, I think this album is an example of talent in the making more than a great album in its own right. While no fillers, I hear no massive hits either. It's an album I would hear early in the evening at a party waiting for the more interesting stuff. On the other hand, what it may not contain for the dancefloors it may contain in home listening quality. If not overly exciting it sure is flowing.

That being said, fans of Ticon should not be without this album, as most ought to appreciate the simplicity of Ticon here. If you're not yet big on Ticon, I'd go for their next album Aero.
