Some beautiful material enclosed on this piece of wax. To me it sounds like a companion piece to the Fennesz classic "Endless Summer". But, there is much more to it than that. The cover reminds me of a colorful volcanic eruption, and that is a close representation of what the music here sounds like. On the A-side: Shards of liquified guitar rise up against swells of white noise. And what should turn into utter chaos, just blends into a journey into euphoric alien dimensions. On the B-side: The slow travel of molten lava flowing along the earths surface. The colors of the lava change with the melting of the the world in front of it. As it hits the ocean, steam rises into the atmosphere, which brings an end to the journey. Not a record to be overlooked by those looking for great experimental ambience.
