Reviews & Discussion

Rated 4/5

This rocks tho' why Maas inserts a single vocal track per CD right in the middle of the mixes (track 5 each time) is beyond me and meant he only scored 4/5

I don't particularly rate trance but this is something special and I'll defo be checking out his other mixes

Timo Maas really can't seem to put a foot wrong at the moment. This second album release from the guy is as original and pleasing to the ear as Music for the Masses. The release details say Kinetic, however I had the album on Perfecto so whether this is something to do with a difference from the UK I'm not sure.

The album takes a little longer to get going than MFTM, but rest assured the tunes are there and they are most satisfying! In fact I'd go so far as to say the crescendo is better on this release than MFTM if not as Techy! I guess Perfecto has always been associated with Oakey style trance (after all it used to be his label!).

My advice, if you're going to listen to the album before buying it make sure you listen to all the tracks.
