Again, another biggie from '97. Tee's own mix is very good and wonderful for the radio, but for me, the best mix here is the Rhythm Masters stomping mix, though at the time, i must confess, i probably enjoyed the Loop Da Loop mix best.

This is what i refer to as hard house. It's still got the funk and groove, but the beats are a little harder. The Rhythm Masters cut up and add nice little drops/stops to give the track full on drive. A very typical disco cut up from them. The only problem with their mix was it was a sod to mix into due to the wierd intro it has.

The Loop Da Loop mixes were hugely popular at the time also. Yes, they do sound a bit dated now, but at the time, this was THE sound everyone was going for. One can't help feel though, that Loop Da Loop has copied Armand Van Heldens "Spin Spin Sugar" remix, so much so it's a little embarassing. As i said, at the time, i liked this mix probably more so than the Rhythm Masters mix, but now, Loop Da Loop's mixes just sound dated.

A classic track here with a decent retail release that covers four mixes, each giving suitably varied flavours of the original. Of course the best of these is without question is Tee's Remix. But when dancefloors tire of the main mix, Rhythm Masters provide a decent alternative Dub version. On the flip side, mixes from Loop De Loop added a speed garage vibe to the proceedings, but they sound dated by now. Still, a very decent set of mixes of a track that's become somewhat of an industry standard on the soulful house front.

Well, the Loop da Loop mixes are pure late-nineties 'speed garage' cheese. Fine if you like huge synth basslines and time-stretched vocals but it all sounds horribly dated these days. The original mix (Tee's remix), on the other hand, is a timeless, soulful masterpiece. One of the first vinyl's I bought back in '97 and still a favourite - such a pity the UK release didn't include the Preacher acapella though!
