Some absolutely stunning ambient on this buzz release !!! The compositions are an excellent blend of ambient, dub, with some tribal and trancey elements in a very unique style. Each single track is a pure gem made of very subtle electronic sounds and beautiful melodies. I suggest to play it at a low pitch to better capture its soaring atmosphere. Just listen to it on headphones and you will be absorbed into its very spacey laid back ambience !
It's a bit surprising that no one has commented on this little treasure before me. First, as an audiophile, I love it when electronica is sonically well produced, and Trans-4M's first full length has got it in spades. The sound is crystal clear, a well defined and very deep bass bottom, and at the top, synth drum brush strokes that sound like "live" music in your living room. Last, if the music wasn't so hot, who would care? But it is. Gorgeous melodic ambient passages and soaring atmospheric Detroit techno beats make this cd a must.
