And I can’t really explain why! Bear with me. There is nothing wrong with his music – even if I haven’t figured out the hype surrounding The Last Resort album. But as for his club music, no doubt, this is what is making headlines these days. Every club with respect for itself is infected with minimal electro house!
And minimal to the max, infinitely controlled, and predictable as fuck, Trentemøller "rules" the underground club scene. In Denmark alone with almost no promotion his debut cd sold more than 20,000 copies. This is what the kids crave for! What does a straight guy have to do to get some layered dance music?!
Alright, as on opener, even 'til midnight, Trentemøller is NOT your worst host. But all night?! Did mid nineties psychedelic dance music fly straight over everybodys head?
