Brilliant - got a copy today and its just mindblowing. Really clear pads and rhythm patterns are woven tightly with degraded and messed up sounds that range from rhythms to acid lines. I had to check my needle for fluff a couple of times on Micro Dotz before the precisions of the pads set me straight that it wasn't my system playing up. Spacemission 1 is an absolute killer, again with awsome rhythms and pads. The whole thing puts me in mind of a sci-fi movie, but i don't think the movie has yet been made that would do this justice.
there's purportedly a bitstream connection, here. it's definitely apparent in the sound - complex, grandiose electronics, sculpted with great care, getting huger and huger as the tonearm moves inexorably toward the center. it verges on peter howell/bbc radiophonic workshop futurism at times, especially "micro-dotz", and if anyone should record the theme for the next _doctor who_ series, it's troubleshooter. intensely rewarding.
