Twisted Travellers - Twisted Travellers E.P.

Twisted Traveller's Twisted Travelling is a phenomenal track. Fast pulsing beat and acid line moving at light speed, this track surely isn't for the faint hearted. Don't get me wrong thou - this is hardly comparable to any other acid track I've heard, the sound is so screechy and other elements in the track make the mood pretty sinister. Why the criminally low rating to date - perhaps this track is just too "far out" and unique. The bpm rate is furious (unfortunately I can't check the exact speed at the moment, but easily above 150 bpm) so it's hard to mix, I can come up with only a few tracks myself even.

The flip side Full Circle might also be a reason for the rating, it's quite forgettable.

If you like old school dark psy check this out. Twisted Travelling can also be found on Goa Spirit 3 if you collect cds.

I am really surprised not a soul has written a review for this release. To me, this is one of the most crucial 12" records of 1997, not to mention the genre of Psy-Trance itself. If you like the track off of the Black Rhino album then you owe it to yourself & Ramon Sterman to find this and pay whatever you have to for it. Your mind will explode as well as your speakers for you will not be able to get them loud enough for these two tracks. So fast, so trippy, so acidic, so well programmed & I doobie leaf Richard Dreyfuss is one of the samples. Not really sure if this constitutes as a review but, These two needles have to be found in the Psychedelic Hay Stack and if you had no idea of the year of release you would think they came out now, they will stand up to anything on Wild Things.
