Sadly i miss in some of these tracks some warmth of melodies i am used to listen at his previous productions. I think i have to get used to this album as its been with 'A Strangely Isolated Place' when i first heard it. It cleary is something i don´t want to have missing in my collection and his music is very uplifting. Still it is different and maybe it is good that way. In my opinion the journey got into a more pop like, still experimental direction.
My recommendation in this album is 'A Song About Hope' and the title song 'Goodbye' which is pure sweetness it self.
In fact i will introduce this piece of art to my friends and they all will be infected as its been before with 'Far Away Trains Passing By' and 'A Strangely Isolated Place'! So long talk short sense 7/10
