referencing Living For The Nite, 12", SPLISH 2

It's probably best not to be tempted to settle for this version, even though it's no doubt easier to find than the UR-released cut. Only get this if you want to know the true meaning of 'bad pressing'. OK, they probably only had 16-bit digital recording to cut from in those days (and it does sound 'digital', even on vinyl) But why tf does that have to mean a top-end that's compressed to a point that is just plain idiotic? (And yes, it distorts so much that it will piff you off). And why does it make middle-England style aesthetics for the bass - ie, there isn't any - necessary? Trust me: avoid.
