Which ever mix you listen to, there is no denying that not only is this one of the all time trance classics, but possibly more than any other track it will silence even the most hardened trance cynic.

The original is a lush journey deep into a rainforest with the sound of tribal drums and tropical animals setting the scene. This is interspersed with ethereal wailing and profound soundscapes. This builds for several minutes as it takes the listener deeper into the jungle until it all comes crashing to a halt and the most epic new age film score type break before soothing itself out. Imagine yourself several days into a jungle on a quest to find a long lost civilisation, knowing you are close and frantically quickening your pace. However at the moment your goal finally unveils itself to you, you realise that the jungle tribe was lying in wait for you all along and you will form the main sacrifice to appease the angry gods!

Amazingly by taking it down an even more epic route, the Casper Pound manages to actually improve on the original. Here the emphasis is on ponderous singular piano keys and a more striped down production that makes greater use of the wailing vocals to chilling effect. This final minute or so is really what elevates this mix to legendary status. You'll need to hold onto something that is securely bolted down or risk being blown away by a whirlwind. Then suddenly the track just stops dead. The best comparison for the Casper Pound remix in terms of effect is Jam & Spoons 'Follow Me'.

So many years on, none of the mixes here have dated at all, and probably will never do so. The very best music is always timeless.

the remix by Caspar Pound is such a powerful epic, that it keeps on sending shivers down your spine the whole 12 minutes long. The original mix pales beside this masterpiece with loads of breaks, devastating drums and a continuous, unequalled build-up.
