As a part of the underground Techno scene for several years the 2 Finnish Lauri's (Virtanen & Pitkanen),
named theirselves as "the two 80's hi-nrg disco lunatics from Helsinki". They have again put their skills &
particular style in a very nice album. "Total distruction" has got, like many of their releases, some 80's disco
influences mixed up with some great bassdrum kicks, hand claps snap and nice Russian & Polish melodies.
The aggressive title is in complete contrast with the happy and dynamic sound of it.

"The Name of the game" is made of the wellknown and emotional sample from "Only you", a song made by
the Italo-discogroup Savage. The title track hearkens back to Divine's "Shoot Your Shot", and a number of
other tracks make direct reference to Sylvester tracks without ever sounding like blueprint revivalism.
Some producers simply mimic their idols too closely and make embarrassing records. Certainly not in this case!

A great voyage into electronic Pop, an amazing Album!
