Although both sides are very similar, a look around the world of electronic music will tell you that the style Vainqueur has created on "Elevation" represents something of the least imitated style of music. Loud, swirling synthetic drones accompanied by a very clear sense of rhythm (and yet no drums to speak of) make this perhaps the most startling release in the entire Chain Reaction discography. Unlike the works of Porter Ricks, which, although brilliant, have been somewhat cheapened by the countless followers, "Elevation" will always remain a true classic.

Maybe one of the greatest "ambient" 12s ever. Deep swelling soundscapes that are thought provoking and emotionally really full on... even if you hear it for the first time there is an amazing emotional resonance, hard to find in a lot of electronic music. Buy on sight, basically.
