I have been accused of quite a few things, but nobody can point the finger and claim I am a Kanzyani fan. That said, I am madly in love with the A side of this 12", Burros Eslovenos. Along with Learning How To Do It, his hard techno stomper released on Umek's Consumer Recreation label, this is in my humble opinion the finest work to have come from Valentino's workshop and seen the light of day!
However, Burros Eslovenos is less Lanicor-ish than the afore mentioned tune, not as harsh and thus way more accessible, effective and appealing to average party crowds. Fairly simple in structure, it has a very addictive bass line, which carries the weight up to the 03:20 mark, when an approximately sixty second build up keeps on teasing and teasing the listeners with a frenetic melody just waiting to explode. And eventually it does, explode that is, providing a grand ninety second and some change climax! Excellent tune, clearly intended for the clubs rather than quality home listening sessions.
