Valentino drops an absolutely incredible mix here. Valentino manages to go through a wide variety of techno here with the skill of a 3 deck wizard. The cd starts off with some nice electro-ey techno, then progresses on to some nice groovey funky techno, then gets a bit tribally, then to some harder stuff and finally concludes the mix with some new wave flavored techno.
Pretty much the whole spectrum is represented on this mix with several incredible mixes throughout. The standout mixes are when he drops the Steve Angelo tribal track which he layers with the DK7 acid track, or when he mixes the Adam Beyer & Jesper Dahlback track with the Hardcell & Grindvik track and then drops the Patrick Skoog track which skillfully blends into the Adam Beyer remix of Hertz's Lucky 13. So many mixes which are mindblowing in this cd!
Valentino in my opinion is very underrated, better than Umek, but after listening carefully to this cd its clear to me that he's one of the best 3 deck techno dj's around. I base that on his ability to balance being technical with the ability to really please a crowd.
