I think I read somewhere that this was originally called 'Gravitational Arch of Io' but a typo was made when the original promos were manufactured and the track name of 'Gravitational Arch of 10' stuck. Dunno if there's any truth behind it or not but it's still a classic track from the 90's.

Just found this and listened to it over, over and over. For a release in 1993 it's a very unique and pioneering sound that seems to be unwittingly void of all the well defined (and sometimes boring) styles of the present day. I wasn't into this sound much back then but now I think this is a real gem. The Vapour Treatment side is good, more of a full on trip rather than the floaty style of the Original Version, of which the intro and cadenza brings shivers to the senses. A top tune that is very well made for its day. +1 to the previous reviewer.

A stone cold classic that sits agreeably amongst those into techno, trance, or progressive house. This really is one of those elite tracks that stands out a mile from all else and makes for pleasurable home listening as well.

You could almost be forgiven for thinking that some of the production maybe sounds a little dated. Get yourself a decent music set up and you'll be forced to re-evaluate that thought. The bass is immense and will have your neighbours banging down your door - probably to enquire where they can get a copy for themselves.

This track has proved to be a huge influence, not least on the Platipus record label, and certainly anybody wishing to produce music should track this down as a reference point.

'The Vapour Treatment' version is a more dancefloor friendly version in so far as it doesn't feature the long winding intro. When the original is so amazing, who needs a remix anyway?

Rumor has it that the name of this track was intended to be "Gravitational Arch of Io", like the moon orbiting Jupiter. Rich read it wrong and thought it said 10. So, Mark's most recognized track is mis-spelled. Go figure.
