One of my all time favourite albums, it flows so perfectly and has such a clear yet warm sound. From beautiful ambient sections to banging analogue freakouts 'Themes...' has it all. An album from a golden age of techno long-players with a lot to teach most current techno producers struggling to make interesting albums.

A very mindstretching experience that is, to the hassle of a listener, segued into one track. The tracks all sound similar, so it does sort of feel like one long song. The tracks are enjoyable, although somewhat irritating or aggravating to some extent due to the long sweeps.

One of the alltime best techno LP's to date, IMO. The album is meant to be heard from start to finish. Classic techno tracks 'Gravitational Arch of 10' and 'Vista Humana' are featured on this release. Intelligent, ambient techno full of analog warmth.

Raw, simple, generally uninspired early ambient techno yet it does have it's high points. When that happens this is ecstatic. Unfortunately you can't skip through the 12 tracks so I don't play this much. It reminds me of Asmus Tietchens late 70's albums eg Biotop, cheesy and childlike in nature compared to his masterpieces in the late 80's. I need to hear more of Vapourspace, did they mature?
